Your gateway to an Australian education
High quality education, internationally recognised qualifications, a competitive cost advantage and high quality life-style in a safe, multicultural society are just some of the reasons that see increasing numbers of students considering Australia as an excellent study destination.
Your search for an Australian education qualification should begin with identification of a course that best meets your requirements. Australian institutions offer a wide range of courses with diverse specialisations and therefore students need to invest time in selecting the right course that meets their requirements. The decision to study abroad is a significant one, and there are many considerations to take into account.
Information is available directly from the Australian institution’s website or from their appointed representatives here in India. Often, representatives from the institutions will visit India to interview students or to participate in exhibitions - details are generally advertised in the daily press.
For authoritative information to help you choose the right course, visit the official Australian Government website: www.studyinaustralia.gov.au
Education Agents: Australian education institutions have authorised agents to represent them in India. These agents can provide you with information about the education institutions that they represent and help students to apply for enrolment and facilitate the application for an Australian Student Visa. Make sure that the agent is an authorised representative of the institution that you wish to apply to and understand any fees that may be levied for using their services.
The Australian High Commission does not authorise any agents but supports an agents’ association AAERI (the Association of Australian Education Representatives in India). AAERI members have to abide by code of ethical practices which requires that they provide services to prospective students in a manner which reflects the established practices of the Australian education and training sector on the one hand and safeguards the genuine interest of prospective students on the other. A list of AAERI members can be found at its website at www.aaeri.org .
