General Information
The Long Stay Temporary Business visa (subclass 457) is intended for genuine business visitors seeking entry to Australia for business purposes for a period of over three months.
Applications Lodged in Australia
A visa application for temporary residence (for business purposes) cannot be lodged before a sponsorship or nomination.
If you are sponsored by an Australian business, your sponsorship or application cannot be lodged and processed at the Australian High Commission.
Applications Lodged in New Delhi
Only sponsorships lodged by overseas business sponsors are processed at the Australian High Commission. The nominations and applications associated with these sponsorships are also lodged in New Delhi.
