Exchange Rate used to calculate Financial Capacity for a Student Visa

The exchange rates are reviewed every 6 months, unless there are significant changes in exchange rates which warrant an earlier review.

Following are the current rates for a student visa lodged by the Indian, Nepalese and Bhutanese nationals.
$1 Australian Dollar = 41 Indian Rupees
$1 Australian Dollar = 67 Nepalese Rupees
$1 Australian Dollar = 41 Bhutanese Ngultrum
These rates are determined by calculating the average exchange rate over the previous 6 months using the OANDA website.
