Where to Apply
At an Australian Visa Application Centre - VFS Global
VFS Global has been appointed by DIAC as a service delivery partner to collect visa applications on behalf of the Visa Office in New Delhi. Visa applications in India & Nepal can be lodged at any of the VFS Global visa application centres, Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600 hours.

Online
Some visa applications can be lodged online for processing at centres in Australia. Please refer to the e-visa section of our website.
Before you lodge an application, please ensure your application is complete and that you have all the necessary documentation. Incomplete applications may result in longer processing times.

Applications and passports sent directly by courier or mail to the Australian High Commission should be addressed to:

IMPORTANT: Please note that applications received directly at the Australian High Commission by courier or mail will be subject to slower processing times due to the need for officers to undertake data entry.
In Person at the Australian High Commission
Clients will not be admitted to the Australian High Commission to lodge visa or citizenship applications without a prior appointment.

• Telephone +91 11 4122 1000 (Please call between 09:00-12:00; or 14:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday).
If e-mailing us, you will need to include your name and passport number and the purpose of your appointment. You may include a telephone contact number if you wish.
